A Victorian property has been transformed into an ideal family home for four, blending modern living with its enchanting heritage. An exquisite orangery has been added, creating a light-filled space for gatherings and celebrations. Above, a loft extension features a luxurious master suite, complete with a spacious bedroom and elegant bathroom. Care was taken to preserve the property's original charm, maintaining the grace of Victorian architecture while addressing contemporary needs. This transformation exemplifies a harmonious balance between old and new, showcasing thoughtful design and skilled craftsmanship in a practical yet enchanting home.

Our brick and blockwork team showing commitment to mortar finish. Even with this wall being covered by plaster and the finished paint.
Three skylights placed in the functional parts of the extension to ensure the client and guests are bathed in natural light around the kitchen island or at the dinner table.
We advised the client to have a large opening for the patio doors to encourage as much natural light as possible from their South facing garden.
For added support and structural integrity for the roof we added metal jiffy hangers for each roof joist.
We designed the space so that the client could have a great view of their large garden whilst sitting at the kitchen island.
